A Summer of Momentum

Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club turns a season of visibility into its next milestone—the official groundbreaking and public sales debut on October 21, 2026.

Before the first golden shovel turns, a community is already taking shape.

Since its public debut in June, Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club has moved through the Pacific Northwest’s automotive, yachting, design, and lifestyle circles, inviting collectors to imagine a waterfront destination built around their passions. Each gathering has introduced new people to the vision. Each conversation has made the possibilities more personal.

Now, as the fourth quarter begins, that summer of momentum leads back to Salmon Bay. On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Terminal One will celebrate its official groundbreaking and public sales debut welcoming our Founding Members.

June brought the vision into view

The launch announcement introduced Cantera Group’s plans for collector garages, hospitality spaces, and a future marina near the Ballard Locks. Coverage across business, real estate, and lifestyle publications, including Puget Sound Business Journal, The Seattle Times, Seattle Agent Magazine and Seattle Magazine, brought the concept to a wider audience.

On June 7, the Rally & Rendezvous event brought hundreds of guests to Kirkland’s waterfront. Collectible automobiles, yachts, and project previews gave enthusiasts a first opportunity to experience the community forming around Terminal One with preliminary design concepts by Olson Kundig. More than a dozen reservations were collected, while a VIP yacht visit brought prospective owners and collaborators to the future site.

The conversation continued on June 13 at Gustavo Apiti’s L’Âme du Luxe en Couture celebration at Fields Motorcars Bellevue. Fashion and automotive craftsmanship shared the setting, connecting Terminal One with people who appreciate the imagination and care behind an exceptional collection.

July connected the project with its audience

On July 2, Terminal One representatives attended Seattle Magazine’s release party for its July/August edition, continuing relationships across the region’s cultural and lifestyle communities.

Then, on July 12, the project appeared as a field sponsor at Avants Classics on the Green at Chateau Ste. Michelle. Collectors could explore the evolved renderings, meet the sales team, and consider what their own space might become. The subsequent project update reported additional priority reservations.

Those encounters gave the team something valuable: direct conversations with the people who might shape Terminal One’s ownership community.

August took the vision to Carillon Point

On August 23, Terminal One hosted a pop-up exhibit at Exotics at Carillon Point, bringing the project into another waterfront gathering of automotive enthusiasts.

The setting offered a natural connection to the vision on Salmon Bay. Among extraordinary automobiles, collectors could begin imagining a place to display their cars, host friends, and enjoy the stories behind their collections.

September sustained the conversation

Terminal One was a featured sponsor for Seattle Magazine’s September/October edition release party on September 9, maintaining its presence among the people and creative communities contributing to the region’s lifestyle conversation.

The month concluded with an appearance at the BUILD Magazine release party on September 30, extending that visibility into the fourth quarter.

Across these gatherings, the project has offered a consistent invitation: imagine how a purpose-built collector environment could become part of your life. A garage can hold an automobile. A thoughtfully personalized space can hold decades of memories, discoveries, and relationships.

October brings everyone to the future reality

The next gathering will carry a different significance.

The official groundbreaking begins at 4 p.m. on October 21 at the Terminal One construction site on West Commodore Way. Following brief remarks, a golden shovel turn and team photographs, guests, will continue to the neighboring showroom at Dobson Stuttgart, 3101 West Commodore Way, Seattle, for a champagne reception and the public sales debut.

It is an opportunity to meet the development and sales teams, reconnect with fellow enthusiasts, and explore the next steps toward ownership. Want to be in the know before the show? Contact the Terminal One Sales Team to learn about reservations for priority presales, ensuring preferred selection and introductory pricing.

For Cantera Group, Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and their collaborators, the occasion brings a season of introductions to the property where the vision will take physical form. For prospective owners, it offers a moment to consider their own place in that future.

Following a summer of design and momentum, October 21 marks the next step toward building its home. Occupancy isn’t far either, as Phase One delivery is expected by spring 2027, setting up for a summer of garage personalization and special events.

Greater than garages. More than a marina.
