Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club has reached a significant development milestone on Seattle’s Salmon Bay: final permits are in hand, and construction is officially underway at the private nine-acre waterfront enclave adjacent to the Ballard Locks. The project is designed by a collaboration of Lance Mueller and Olson Kundig architects and is developed by Cantera Group for collectors and automotive and yachting enthusiasts.
With construction underway, the first and largest phase of the project is now advancing towards individual ownership. Existing unit reservation holders are invited to review governing documents and purchase agreements this month, while priority presales are also being introduced to qualified registrants and early adopters. All Founding Members are reviewing availability within the current release of Building A and Building B, enjoying preferred selection and introductory pricing in advance of the broader public sales launch on October 21. The project team is now coordinating private reservation-holder appointments and Purchase and Sale Agreement activity as the sales program advances.
“We’re elated by the progress unfolding on both sides of Terminal One—the transformation of the site is now clearly visible, while the response from collectors and prospective owners continues to translate into reservations and Priority Presale activity. After years of planning, remediation, and design, it’s rewarding to see the physical development and the community of Founding Members advancing together. That momentum makes October 21 especially meaningful, as we celebrate the official groundbreaking and introduce Terminal One more broadly to the marketplace with our formal public sales debut. We believe we’re creating something truly enduring on Seattle’s waterfront, and we’re excited to share this next chapter.”
— Mike and Doug Ciserella, Principals, Cantera Group, Manager of the Terminal One development entity
Phase One comprises the south side of Commadore Way, including Building A, B, and C with approximately 72 garage units (subject to unit combinations) and the FORUM, a common area amenity facility and events venue. Phase Two is the north side of Commadore Way, comprising the waterfront portion of the project, including Building D with approximately 36 commercial condominiums and 2,300 linear feet of moorage, with capacity for up to 300+ foot superyachts. All permits and entitlements for Phase One are approved, while Phase Two continues to work through regulatory processes targeting commencement in 2028.
OCTOBER 21: OFFICIAL GROUNDBREAKING + PUBLIC SALES DEBUT
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Cantera Group and Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty will host the official groundbreaking ceremony and public sales debut for Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club. Construction has already commenced.
The event will mark the project’s transition from private Priority Presales to its broader public offering, including the release of additional available units and publication of pricing starting from the mid $600,000s. Prospective buyers will have an opportunity to explore ownership, meet members of the development, design, and sales teams, and schedule Purchase and Sale Agreement consultations.
The construction-site ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m., with media and guest arrival beginning at 3:30 p.m. Programming will include brief remarks from representatives of the development, architecture, construction, hospitality, and collector communities, followed by a ceremonial golden-shovel turn and team photographs. A champagne toast will celebrate the milestone.
A curated display of collectible and exotic automobiles is also planned, providing a visual expression of the collector community Terminal One is designed to serve. The event will be promoted in collaboration with Avants, Seattle Agent Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and BUILD Magazine as media partners.
“The approaching events, together with the release of our newest renderings and video, are bringing the Terminal One vision to life in an exciting new way. Buyers can now see not only the scale and design of the project, but the extraordinary potential to personalize each garage around their own collections, passions, and lifestyle.”

AFTERGLOW RECEPTION + FOUNDING MEMBER SALES EXPERIENCE
Following the ceremony, invited guests and media will continue to neighboring Dobson Stuttgart, 3101 West Commodore Way, for a hosted reception featuring John Howie Catering, a Wildwood Spirits tasting experience, collector displays, project presentations, and conversations with the Terminal One team.
The reception will also serve as an active sales environment, with private buyer consultations and scheduled Purchase and Sale Agreement appointments. Lead sales representatives Neda Perrina and Jay Kipp will coordinate prospective buyers, reservation holders, and follow-up.
“We’re excited to officially bring Terminal One to market and begin working with Founding Members to personalize their garages around their collections and lifestyles. With occupancy targeted for summer 2027, now is the time to secure a preferred location and start bringing those visions to life.”
